Clarisonic on Good Morning America as the “Hot New Skin Treatment”
The Clarisonic Sonic Cleansing System was recently featured on ABC’s Good Morning America in a segment titled “The Hot New Skin Treatment”. Consumer Technology Contributer for ABC News, Becky Worley, did her own test drive of the Clarisonic to prove the system’s deep cleansing, reducing pores and fine lines capabilities.
Check out Becky’s experience with the Clarisonic below to see her results!
In her test drive, Becky used the Clarisonic on the right side of her face for five days and just soap and water on the other side. Becky said the Clarisonic side felt cleaner, and she thought she saw a very subtle reduction in the appearance of fine lines. She also tried the fluorescent makeup test and commented that Clarisonic did an amazing job removing the makeup while the soap and water side did not.
Becky also acknowledged less expensive face brushes on the market but preferred the Clarisonic because it was more invigorating! Becky also mentions the Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System which is the smaller, travel-friendly model and the Clarisonic Classic Sonic Skin Cleansing System. Check out the different Clarisonic Systems available to you on our website. -

Style Icons by Decade
Beauty and fashion have changed over the time. Each decade has its distinct beauty trends, but most striking in our memories are the style icons who personify them. We’re taking a stroll down memory lane and showcasing some of our favorite beauty icons of previous decades.1950’s
Audrey Hepburn was one of the world’s most stylish women. Her French twist, little black dress and classic white blouse are all signature to the demure but classic look that is Audrey Hepburn.
1960’s
Jackie O being the most stylish 1st Lady to ever grace the planet made fashion look effortless. The timelessly elegant Chanel suit became her signature, choosing to often pair it with white gloves and a string of pearls.
1970’s
Farrah Fawcett graced many teenagers’ walls with her perfectly curled and feathered hair, stunning smile and striking red bathing suit. She symbolized the free spirit of women in the 1970’s.
1980’s
Madonna has been called the ultimate fashion icon. Her arrival brought us lots of lace, leggings, denim, pointed bras, shaggy hair and everything else you can imagine to completely ruffle the feathers of eighties fashion.
1990’s
Kate Moss was the anti-supermodel, choosing a less glossy look for the waifish edgy trend that ruled the 1990’s. Leopard print, rubber boots and skinny pants brought Kate’s look to the modern woman.
2000’s
Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t just woo us with her character’s closets, we coveted her style too. We followed her from Carrie Bradshaw’s tube tops and nameplate necklaces in the streets of NYC, to Parker’s designer gowns for red carpet events.
Who should be style icon this decade?

A Tribute to Mothers for Mother’s Day
We are grateful that we have come to know so many wonderful mothers through a facial cleansing system. Many days we look at mothers as friends and professionals, but today we stop to remember their nurturing side. Mothers have a special place in our heart and Sunday we pay tribute to mothers everywhere. Have a happy Mother’s Day from Clarisonic!
Your mother is always with you…
She’s the whisper of the leaves
as you walk down the street.
She’s the smell of bleach
in your freshly laundered socks.
She’s the cool hand on your brow
when you’re not well.
Your mother lives inside your laughter.
She’s crystallized in every tear drop.
She’s the place you came from,
your first home…
She’s the map you follow
with every step that you take.
She’s your first love
and your first heart break…
and nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, Not space…
Not even death…
will ever separate you
from your mother…
You carry her inside of you…-Author Unknown

Wedding Skin – A Royal Wedding
In recent months Kate Middleton has been prepped for royalty. Most would speculate that she has a personal stylist. She has truly transformed into a sophisticated style that suits her well. While Kate’s clothes might have changed, her make-up and hair have remained beautifully natural. She is rumored to have refused all offers of help with her make-up for her wedding day, preferring to do it herself.
While Kate remains low key with her wedding day make-up, we bet she has a consistent skincare routine that keeps her skin glowing. Every wedding should have a glowing bride and achieving picture-perfect, wedding skin means – evening tone, reducing redness and getting rid of blemishes. Do you have any secrets for pre-wedding skin?

Solving Beauty Disasters One at a Time
While out and about, you might be faced with a beauty disaster that requires a quick fix. We’ve put together some solutions to common beauty mishaps that will help fix a disaster in no time.
Broken Bra Strap
If you aren’t prepared with safety pins, you can always tuck the strap into your cup or wrap it around the back of the bra to finish out the day or night.
Spill on Your Clothes
First off, do not rub the stain. Dip a napkin in water and lightly blot the stain. Use the wet part of the napkin and then the dry part underneath the fabric to soak it up. A Tide pen is always a good item to have on hand for these situations as well.
Oily Hair
Sometimes you just don’t have the time to squeeze in a wash. Enter dry shampoo. This little life saver will make your locks look less oily and greasy. Another option is baby powder. Be sure to fully rub the powder in to avoid white roots.
Run in Your Tights
The best way to assure the snag does not get worse is to apply clear nail polish. Take care in wearing jewelry that won’t cause snags and keep your fingernails filed.
Static Hair
Your hair may have looked perfect leaving the house but now you are faced with flyaway strands all over the place. The quick fix is to put a dab of lotion on your hands and smooth it over the strands. If you constantly have this problem, carry a dryer sheet with you to smooth down the static.
Do you know any quick fixes for beauty disasters? We would love to hear them so we can always be prepared!

Health and Wellness: How Do You Unwind?
Anyone who enjoys being pampered knows that a trip to the spa is just what you need to relax and unwind. However, that might not always be possible or practical. We know some of our fans often use their Clarisonic as a way to relax and either start or end the day. We thought we would take it a step further and share some other great ideas to unwind in addition to sonic cleansing.
Take a bath: Add a scent, bubbles or oil and light a few candles while you submerge to relaxation.
Aromatherapy: Essential oils used in aromatherapy can subtly affect your mind and emotions to a “feel-good” state. Aromatherapy has been known to relieve tension and improve sleep.
Steam Room: Steam opens your pores, soothes sore muscles and increases circulation providing a relaxing and healthy experience.
Foot Rub: Standing on your feet all day can cause strain. A foot rub or even better, a massage, provides a great way to unwind.
Yoga Class: Deep breathing and stretching in yoga is a great way to unwind and focus on your body.
What’s your favorite way to unwind?
