  • Holiday Jingles with the Clarisonic Elf

Give yourself and a friend the gift of beautiful skin!

We need our Sonic fans to help us spread the Sonic Cheer this holiday season! Over the past two years, we loved your Clarisonic jingles. This year, the Clarisonic Elf is back with more Sonic Gifts!

From Mia the Clarisonic to the tune of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, to Cleansing All The Way to the tune of Jingle Bells, the Clarisonic Elf is so excited to see what amazing sonic jingles you will come up with this year.

Our Clarisonic Elves in the workshop need lots of new jingles so we plan to have multiple winners per week depending on the number of jingles and creativity. Hint, Hint: The more music, the more products the Clarisonic Elves make to giveaway. Each winner will receive a Clarisonic of his/her choice and one to gift to a friend- ‘tis the season for giving!

The contest starts November 29, 2011 and ends at 11:59pm PST December 24, 2011. You can enter your sonic jingle in the comments on Sonic Chatter, Facebook, and Twitter. Be sure to include #SonicJingle if you are entering on Twitter and just another hint, the Clarisonic Elf loves videos!

Remember to tell your friends and family so they can enter too and increase your chances of winning! Winners will be announced on our blog, Facebook page and on Twitter each Monday. Good luck and have a Happy #SonicHoliday this year!

Check out an excerpt from one of our favorites from last year:

    Dashing through my skin
in pink, blue, white and gray
    o’er my pores we go
    cleansing all the way
    after a minute it rings
    …Making my skin so bright
What fun it is to cleanse and sing my

  • Ask Dr. Robb: Does the Clarisonic help with razor burns or red bumps?

Have you ever wondered whether the Clarisonic can help with razor burns or red bumps? Dr. Robb is here to answer the question in the video below!

Clarisonic is excellent for prepping the skin before you shave, like if you are shaving your legs. No problem, because if lifts the hair and gets all that dead skin away from the base of the hair. If you are talking about ingrown hairs, that’s a medical condition and at Clarisonic we don’t make any claims on medical conditions.

  • Ask Dr. Robb: Will the Opal help alleviate the look of aging around my eyes?

Dr. Robb tells us how using the Opal to deeply hydrate the skin around your eyes can alleviate the signs of aging.

Yes, when we invented the Clarisonic Opal, we wanted to hydrate the area around your eye better than you can with your finger.  Hydration is critical to diminish the signs of aging because as your skin loses all the moisture, it becomes dry and puffy, and you will have a lot of problems with the signs of aging. So what you want to do is use your Opal everyday twice a day to help you get the rejuvenated eye look.

  • That’s a Wrap!

Thank you for supporting Look Good…Feel Better by watching our Glamour Reel Moments films. For every film view, Glamour Magazine will donate $1 to the cause. In honor of the empowering stories and our inspiring directors, Clarisonic made a $250,000 donation to Look Good…Feel Better to aid in continuing their work helping women with appearance-related side effects of cancer treatments.

At the premiere, we asked attendees to write a quote on our wall of empowerment. What empowering quote would you add to the wall? Comment below – all of your answers will be entered to win a prize inspired the Glamour Reel Moments film series! You can still watch the films here: Glamour Reel Moments

  • Ask Dr. Robb: Should I take my makeup off before using my Clarisonic?

Whether your face is made up for stage or you’re an everyday beauty, this video will tell you whether you should remove your makeup before using the Clarisonic.

Dr. Robb says it depends on how much makeup you use. If you are a professional, using stage makeup and you are in front of the cameras and your makeup is really thick and heavy, then yes, definitely remove some of it before using the Clarisonic; but for the average person, no problem.

  • Ask Dr. Robb: Will I get the same results with any one of the systems?

Do you want a Clarisonic but aren’t sure which system to buy? Dr. Robb tells us whether there are cleansing differences between the systems. For more information to help you make your decision, check out Dr. Robb’s post on the difference between the sonic cleansing systems!

Dr. Robb says, yes you will! The technology is the same whether you have Mia or Clarisonic PLUS or PRO. They use the same Sonic Technology to oscillate your skin back and forth over 300 times a second to deeply cleanse you skin, and get your skin six times better cleansed than you can by hand.

  • Ask Dr. Robb: Can I use the Opal on other areas on my face?

The first sign of aging that most people notice are eye wrinkles. These wrinkles, as well as the dark circles and bags that accompany them, may begin to appear when a person is still in their twenties and can become more noticeable with the passage of time. The Opal does wonders for the eye, but will it work on the rest of your face? See what Dr. Robb has to say in the video below!

Yes, anywhere where you have crepey dry skin, it is also perfectly fine to use it between the eyes and around the mouth. People love the way it feels and how their skin looks after using Opal Sonic Infusion.

  • Ask Dr. Robb: What is the life expectancy of my Clarisonic?

We know the Clarisonic is a skinvestment, so you want to make sure that your sonic system will be with you for the long-haul! In today’s video, Dr. Robb tells us how long you can expect your Clarisonic to last.

Dr. Robb says: Believe it or not, we have a bazillion engineers here at Clarisonic that do tests on the units all the time. One of the tests they do is the “bench life test” where they plug in a Clarisonic and just let it run.  Based on those tests we know that your Clarisonic should last  3-5 years easily.

How long have you had your Clarisonic? Let us know in the comments!
