Some users experience a purging phase with the initial use of the Clarisonic. This phase can last a few weeks. Another option would be for you to switch to the delicate brush head and use a lower speed. Please let us know if you have any other questions:)

I really wanted to love the Clarisonic however after using it once, my skin erupted ~ large red bumps like blind pimples that took steroid cream and days to clear up. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I thought maybe it was something else causing the bumps so after waiting for the eruption to clear, I tried again and again the eruption. After 3x of this, I have concluded it's just too harsh for my sensitive skin. I use Metrocream for rosacea which works ok.

I have Rosacea and a Clarisonic. I find that it does not irritate my condition. I usually use Philosophy Purity cleanser. I have tried many treatments for my Rosacea, other that laser therapy, none have made any difference. I do love how the Clarisonic thoroughly yet gently cleans my face.
